Trade Minister Zulhas Weekend Filled With Inspections At Kramat Jati Market Monitoring Bulk Cooking Oil Prices
JAKARTA - The Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, has again inspected a number of selling points for people's bulk cooking oil at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta.
The stock of people's bulk cooking oil or MGCR itself is provided in the form of a toren for traders and the public. This stock point of people's bulk cooking oil is provided by ID Food in collaboration with Pasar Jaya.
“In West Java and in Jakarta I have visited the market. There, bulk cooking oil is sold for Rp. 14,000 and there are goods. The price of bulk cooking oil per kilo is Rp. 15,500," said the Trade Minister in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday, June 25, quoted from Antara.
The general chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) continued, if the existence of a people's bulk cooking oil stock point would make it easier for people to buy people's bulk cooking oil.
"For example, this is a container (toren) if in the market people just come and collect it," said Zulhas.
During his inspection, Zulhas also visited the Japanese shop and the Rice Family shop, which is a food stall at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta.
Zulhas ensured that the availability of migrants at Kramat Jati Market was safe and under control.
"At (Pasar Kramat Jati) almost every shop costs Rp. 14,000," said Zulhas.
It is known, the Ministry of Trade took strategic steps to stabilize cooking oil prices in the community.
This step is contained in the Minister of Trade Regulation (Permendag) Number 33 of 2022 which regulates the governance of the MGCR Program.
With this policy, bulk cooking oil is pegged at a price of Rp. 14,000 per liter and Rp. 15,500 per kilogram.
