JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra Niaga Subholding West Java Region has imposed a 6-month closure on the General Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) 3442117 Gorda in Serang Regency, which committed fraud by modifying the dispenser machine.
The sanction was given because it was found that there were fuel sales activities by modifying the dispenser machine using a remote control device.
Sales of fuel types of Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamina Dex, Dexlite, and Solar are carried out by gas station officers by setting the dispenser machine which has been modified by using a remote control device.
Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR for the West Java Region, Eko Kristiawan, said that he would not tolerate any gas station personnel committing fraudulent acts.
"We appreciate and fully support the Banten Police team who have taken action against this incident, so that fuel, especially subsidies, can be distributed properly and properly to the people who are entitled to it," Eko said to the media, Friday, June 24.
He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga as the operator assigned to distribute subsidized fuel fully supports the police's efforts to oversee and oversee the distribution of subsidized fuel.

"Pertamina also appeals to the entire community to jointly oversee and supervise the distribution of subsidized fuel distribution, and if they find indications of fraud, they can report it to the police and Pertamina Call Center 135," he concluded.
