Body Of Victim Drowning On Padangnggalak Beach, Denpasar Found

DENPASAR - Denpasar Police and BPBD team evacuated the body of a man who drowned but had previously asked for help at Padanggalak Beach, Kesiman Petilan, Denpasar, Bali.

"At around 8.41 WITA the victim screamed for help that the victim had leg cramps," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu I Ketut Sukadi, Tuesday, May 21.

The victim of the sea accident was a visitor named I Gusti Ngurah Putu Samudra (64), a resident of Pungul Village, Abiansemal, Badung Regency who was swimming at the time of the incident.

From the information collected by Polairud (Air and Water Police) Polresta Denpasar, there are two witnesses in this case, namely Ida Bagus Suka Dana (54) a resident of North Denpasar and Ida Bagus Made Oka Astawa (64) a resident of Sanur, South Denpasar.

At the time of the sinking of Putu Samudra, the two witnesses were in the vicinity. At 08.20 WITA the witness still saw the victim bathing at Padanggalak Beach.

Until finally at 08.41 WITA the witnesses saw the victim asking for help, Putu Samudra shouted and said that his legs were experiencing cramps.

"Furthermore, the witness asked Balawista for help, and after being helped the victim was declared dead by the BPBD team," said Sukadi in Denpasar.

The accident at sea happened very quickly, but the victim could not be saved so immediately after the evacuation by the BPBD team and the Denpasar Police Polairud the victim was taken to Sanglah Hospital.
