Indonesian Hajj Candidates Who Fell In Makkah Undergo Back Fracture Surgery
JAKARTA - An Indonesian pilgrim who fell and broke his knee in the Holy Land has undergone surgery at a Saudi Arabian Hospital.
"The patient whose knee fracture has undergone valve installation has been treated at the Saudi Hospital," said Head of the Health Section of the Makkah Working Area (Daker), M Imran Saleh in Makkah, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, June 21.
According to Imran, the patient who suffered a fracture in the kneecap due to the fall could only return to his activities after the valve was placed in about six to eight days.
Imran said, every day doctors at the Indonesian Hajj Health Office (KKHI) make visitation visits to prospective Hajj patients who are being treated at Saudi Arabian Hospitals.
In addition to the patient with a broken bone, an Indonesian Hajj candidate who suffers from a heart problem is currently being treated at the hospital.
Furthermore, he said, KKHI Daker Makkah as of Monday, June 20, had treated 32 Indonesian pilgrims for Hajj candidates.
Most of the congregation was dehydrated, causing a relapse of their preexisting congenital or comorbid disease.
