Jaimerson Wants To Play With Heart With Persis Solo

JAKARTA - Persis Solo continues to complete their squad to appear in the 2022/23 Presidential Cup competition and 2022/23 Indonesian League 1. The management of Laskar Samber Nyawa also tied defender Jaimerson da Silva Xavier to become their third foreign player.

The Brazilian player said that he had known Persis Solo's journey when he competed in Liga 2 last season. According to him, the game from the Laskar Samber Nyawa team is interesting and will be able to compete in League 1 later.

"I've watched this team in League 2 games before, it's an interesting game and I love seeing this team struggle. I'll try to play with my heart, work hard and make the fans support me proudly," said Jaimerson.

The 32-year-old said he currently feels the need to improve his physical first before he can perform optimally with Persis.

Jaimerson hopes that in the upcoming Liga 1 competition, Persis can focus on competing for the championship position because according to him, the team is inhabited by the best players.

"After I finished playing in Liga 1 last season, I didn't train or follow the game. It might take a week to be able to play with the team, I need to improve my fitness first," explained Jaimerson.

"To face Liga 1 later, Persis must focus on winning the championship position for next season. We have many of the best players to compete to become champions," he continued.

Jaimerson started his career in Indonesia by joining Persija Jakarta in 2017 and was able to bring the Kemayoran Tiger squad to the 2018 Liga 1 title.

In 2019, the player born in Guarulhos, Brazil continued his career with Madura United and recorded 76 appearances and scored 6 goals and two assists from 6,806 minutes playing in various competitions for almost two seasons with the Laskar Sape Kerrab team.
