Thick With Malay Customs And Beautiful Lake Pading, Central Bangka Regency Government Prepares Perlang Village To Be A Halal Tourism Village
CENTRAL BANGKA - The Central Bangka Regency Government, Bangka Belitung Islands Province has established a halal tourism village as an attraction for something different and unique.
Central Bangka Regent, Algafry Rahman said, Perlang Village has been prepared as a halal tourism village.
"We project Perlang Village to become a halal tourism village because it is supported by tourist objects, community life and is still thick with Malay customs," he said in Koba as quoted by Antara, Friday, June 17.
The Regent also said that the Lake Pading tourist attraction in Perlang Village is one of the tourist areas that will be transformed into a halal tourist attraction.
"Lake Pading is also included in the 50 best tourist villages in the 2022 Indonesian Tourism Village Award representing Bangka Belitung Province," he said.
As many as 30 participants of KHI 2022 have also visited Lake Pading which is a hundreds of years old former tin ore mining, which later turned into a lake with blue water under the foot of Bukit Pading.
"Of course the presence of guests participating in KHI has had a tremendous impact, especially as a promotional event," he said.
A total of 30 KHI participants also participated in "nganggung" activities at the mosque as many as 400 dulang.
"This inconvenience is eating together at the mosque, where local people bring food from their homes using a dulang (a place for various ready-to-eat foods)," said the regent.
