SERANG - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited traders at Baros Market, Baros District, Serang Regency, during a visit to Banten Province in Serang, Friday, June 16. The President was present accompanied by the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini. On that occasion, President Jokowi distributed a number of social assistance to beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH), Cooking Oil Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), ATENSI assistance, Working Capital Assistance (BMK) to beneficiaries. The assistance given by the President was BLT for Cooking Oil of Rp. 300 thousand for 539,322 people in Banten Province, of which in Serang Regency there were 67,941 BMK beneficiaries of Rp. 1.2 million. The President said the total assistance provided was Rp. 1.5 million. Of this amount, IDR 1.2 million is for additional business capital. Meanwhile, Rp. 300 thousand is to buy basic necessities or cooking oil. "This assistance is for business capital and to buy cooking oil," the President said to residents during the distribution of the assistance. in Serang Regency there were 46,198 KPMs with an aid value of Rp. 33,786 billion. ATENSI assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs was handed over in the amount of Rp. 99,465,000 for 10 KPM. The President promised that if the APBN improves, he will increase the assistance provided.
"Later, if the APBN has more money, we will add it," he said. Through the Inten Soeweno Integrated Center, the Ministry of Social Affairs also handed over two units of three-wheeled motorcycles to people with disabilities.
