If The Congregation Gets Lost In The Grand Mosque, Remember There Are Dozens Of Officers Who Are On Standby 24 Hours

JAKARTA - Jamaat protection officers asked Indonesian pilgrims who worship at the Grand Mosque to not hesitate to ask for help from Indonesian Hajj officers who are on standby in the area.

"To ask where the tawaf is, where is the place of sai, where is the exit, don't hesitate to ask because we help the pilgrims. We wear uniforms, equipped with identities," said the congregational protection officer (linjam) in the Special Sector (Sexus) of the Grand Mosque , Umi Thohiroh in Mecca, Friday, June 17, quoted from Antara.

In the Special Sector of the Grand Mosque, there are 52 people divided into two shifts. The first shift is from 09.00 am to 21.00 pm and the second shift is from 21.00 pm to 09.00 am, so they are on standby for 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 16 female officers were placed in the Haram sexus, especially in the tawaf area and towards the sai area. The Heroes of the Grand Mosque on duty for 12 hours alternately and in a team of eight people.

This year's hajj season, men are not allowed to enter the tawaf area without wearing ihram, so male officers are placed on the outside or on the second and third floors of the Grand Mosque.

If there are pilgrims who need help, they are asked not to be shy and approach the loan officers to ask questions.

"For example, if there are pilgrims who get lost or are confused about their direction or exit, confused about the terminal, they can look for us. We are at the mataf post, sai post, between safa and marwah. We keep going around looking for pilgrims who might be confused about the direction," said Uning who also joined in the heroine of the Grand Mosque.

If there are pilgrims who are tired during tawaf or sai, he said, they will be assisted by the heroes of the Grand Mosque. Not only that, if there are Indonesian pilgrims who forget the direction to go home, they will also be directed to the exit according to the prayer bus arrival terminal and can ask for help from officers wearing black vests with complete identities.

"Officers in the mataf area are the srikandi, about five personnel, both in the tawaf area to the sai area and in the sai area there are three personnel," said Secretary of the Special Sector (Sexus) of the Grand Mosque Slamet Budiono at the Makkah Daker Office.
