Jakkal also explained the reason behind the creation of Microsoft Defender is to protect the confidentiality of data and users' devices.
"We must develop our security solutions to meet the unique needs of customers at home and at work by bringing together existing technology in new ways. That's why we are introducing Microsoft Defender for individuals."
Microsoft Defender is online security that simplifies by combining multiple protections into a single dashboard, and provides online protection across all the devices you use.
With trusted technology, Microsoft Defender will offer tips and recommendations to strengthen your protection even further. Microsoft Defender also includes ongoing antivirus and anti-phishing protection.
"This is just the beginning. Next, we will continue to bring more protection under one dashboard, including features such as identity theft protection and secure online connections," he concluded.
You can try Microsoft Defender today. The Microsoft Defender app is available to Microsoft 365 subscribers starting today, across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
