Fake Brimob Seduces Women Leads To Car Embezzlement Arrested By Kudus Police

KUDUS - The police arrested for embezzling a car with the mode of claiming to be a Brimob member, Ahmad Asrori (40) from Bandungharjo Village, Mranggen District, Demak Regency.

Kudus Police Chief AKBP Wiraga Dimas Tama said, in carrying out his action, Asrori admitted to being a member of the Semarang Brimob to his victim, Darojah, a resident of Rembang.

Dimas said, the introduction of the victim to the perpetrator began in April 2022 on social media. Asrori, using the name Ikhsan, met twice at Darojah's house.

The meeting resulted in the perpetrator taking a trip to Menara Kudus on May 31, 2022 using the victim's car.

"When they arrived in Kudus, the perpetrator took the victim to the Asr prayer at the mosque. However, without the victim's knowledge, the perpetrator returned to the car and took the car away," said Dimas in Kudus, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 16.

After the prayer, he said, the victim was surprised because neither the perpetrator nor the car were in the parking lot.

After receiving the victim's report, the police then managed to arrest the perpetrator on June 5, 2022 in Mranggen.

During the arrest, the victim's Honda Brio car with police number H 1261 UE was also secured along with an airsoft gun, identity cards for Brimob members, and an allegedly fake ID card stating the perpetrator's status as Brimob personnel.

To the police, the perpetrator admitted to buying airsoft guns, ID cards, and identity cards for Brimob members online. He admitted that he had just cheated. He got an airsoft gun and an identity too recently.

For this incident, Dimas reminded the public not to easily believe when there was an attempt to defraud by claiming to be an officer. Please check first at the place of duty to make sure it is correct or not.

Now Ahmad Asrori is languishing in the Kudus Police. The perpetrator was sentenced to 4 years in prison for violating Article 372 of the Criminal Code.
