Visiting DKI DPRD, Central Java DPRD Wants To Find Out Jakarta Regional Financial Management

JAKARTA - The Central Java DPRD visited the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Kebon Sirih, for a working visit (kunker). To Jakarta, the Central Java DPRD wants to consult about the procedures for managing regional finances.

Deputy Chairman of Commission C of the Central Java DPRD, Sriyanto Saputro, said that his party wanted to find out the preparation of regulations and supervision of regional financial management in Jakarta.

Bearing in mind, in the near future the DPRD of Central Java Province will conduct discussions regarding the draft regional regulation (Raperda) on regional financial management. This visit was conducted on Wednesday, June 15 yesterday.

"We are sowan here to discuss, because we are just about to draft a regional regulation related to regional financial management. We want to share, discuss, ask for information about the financial management of the capital city," said Sriyanto in a statement quoted by VOI on Thursday, June 16.

After receiving the information, Sriyanto hoped that the members of the provincial council led by Governor Ganjar Pranowo could be better prepared to discuss the Regional Financial Management Raperda, so that later the legal umbrella could be directly applied in his area.

“I want the management system to be more organized, more streamlined and in accordance with regulations. So that there will be no problems in the future," he said.

Continuing, Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD, Khoirudin, proposed to the Central Java DPRD that the Regional Financial Management Regulation that will be made requires the use of information technology in asset management.

The Coordinator of Commission C of the DKI DPRD gave an example of the Jakarta Asset Management Center service to streamline asset recording and anticipate abuse of authority.

"For example, the Jakarta Asset Management Center can take inventory and secure it so that it can increase revenue from regional assets," said Khoirudin.
