Bali Airport Again Serves Citilink Flights Denpasar-Dili Route
BADUNG - Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport again serves Citilink Indonesia flights with the Denpasar-Dili route, Timor Leste PP.
"The return of the Denpasar-Dili route will have a positive impact on Indonesia and Timor Leste and will accelerate the recovery of the tourism sector for both countries", said General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan in Badung, Bali, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, June 15.
The Denpasar-Dili PP flight with Citilink Indonesia operates every Monday and Friday, departing from Denpasar to Dili at 09.25 WITA and landing at 12.20 local time.
Then, the flight using the Airbus A320 aircraft again traveled from Dili to Denpasar at 13:20 local time.
Handy said that his party enthusiastically welcomes the re-operation of Citilink Indonesia flights with the Denpasar-Dili PP route, which will certainly increase the number of passengers at Bali Airport.
Currently, international flights at Bali Airport have served flights to 20 destinations in 11 countries operated by 19 airlines.
As of June 12, 2022, Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has served 126,356 international passengers with an average number of 10,529 passengers per day.
"The number of international passengers at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport continues to increase, along with many routes that are starting to re-operate. We as airport operators are certainly very enthusiastic about this", he said.
Handy added, that Bali Airport will always be ready to serve the opening of new flight routes.
"We continue to open up opportunities for airlines that will open their favorite international routes according to the wishes of service users", he said.

In his statement, Citilink President Director Dewa Kadek Rai explained, that with the re-operation of the Denpasar-Dili PP route, it is hoped that it will provide convenience for business and tourism travelers.
"We hope that this can be a good start for the reopening of Citilink's international routes and can contribute to the recovery of the economic and tourism sectors between countries", he said.
According to him, Citilink will always implement strict health protocols in all its flight operational lines, from pre, during, to post-flight by referring to the health protocol provisions that have been set by the government.
This is done to ensure that all flights run optimally while still prioritizing health, safety, and comfort for all customers.
