Jokowi Chooses Hadi Tjahjanto To Replace Sofyan Djalil Because He Controls The Field

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has given direct orders to the new Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the new National Land Agency (BPN), Hadi Tjahjanto to be able to resolve the issue of providing development land in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago, Kalimantan. "This includes land affairs related to IKN," President Jokowi said after the inauguration of new ministers and deputy ministers in the 2019-2024 Advanced Indonesia Cabinet at the State Palace, Wednesday, June 15, quoted from Antara.

The President appointed Hadi Tjahjanto as Minister of ATR/Head of BPN replacing Sofyan Djalil. The last name has served from 2016 to 2022.

The President gave an order to Hadi to solve as many land problems as possible, including land disputes in the community.

In addition, Hadi is also tasked with increasing the distribution of the number of land certificates to the community so that the community gets legal certainty.

"As much as possible issues related to land disputes and land disputes must be resolved. Secondly, the certificate issue must be resolved as much as possible. I believe Pak Hadi has the ability to do that," he said.

Hadi Tjahjanto is a former TNI Commander. The President believes that Hadi's leadership experience and provisions while in charge of territorial leadership can be used to resolve land disputes.

"He used to be a former TNI commander in control of the territory. We also know that Pak Hadi is very detailed when he goes to work," he said.

Hadi's inauguration was based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 64P of 2022 concerning the Appointment of State Ministers for the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet for the Period of 2019-2024 which was set on June 15, 2022. At the same time, the President also inaugurated Zulkifli Hasan as Minister of Trade replacing Muhammad Lutfi .

Hadi was the TNI Commander in 2017-2021 who replaced General TNI Gatot Nurmantyo. When he became the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Hadi managed to ensure that the 2019 general election ran in a safe and conducive manner. In addition, Hadi is also considered capable of carrying out the duties of the President to deploy TNI soldiers in the implementation of the discipline of health protocols for preventing COVID-19 and distributing vaccines during 2020-2021.

After his retirement as TNI Commander, Hadi won the trust of President Jokowi to oversee the international racing championship of the Mandalika MotoGP, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, as a field commander. Thanks to his work in the Mandalika MotoGP, Hadi received an award from the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), which was delivered directly by the President Director of MGPA Priandhi Satria.
