Still Want To Learn A Lot From Marc Marquez, Fabio Quartararo: Let's Hope He Returns Like Before

JAKARTA - Yamaha Racing MotoGP racer, Fabio Quartararo, admits that he has a close relationship with his rival from Repsol Honda, Marc Marquez. In fact, he did not hesitate to say, he learned a lot from the holder of the six MotoGP world titles.

Quartararo hopes that Marquez can quickly return to racing. He wants to learn more from the Spaniard.

As is known, Marquez is currently undergoing a recovery period after surgery on his right humerus. As a result of the operation, The Baby Alien was forced to end the 2022 MotoGP race early in order to be fully fit again next season.

"Marc is one of the riders I know best in the paddock. He went through difficult times, but let's hope he returns as before," Quartararo said as reported by Motosan.

"I've learned a lot from him and I want to keep learning."

Quartararo then reminisced about the moment of the race against Marquez which he always remembers. He said MotoGP 2019 was the season he enjoyed the most because he beat Marquez twice.

First in Misano, then in Thailand. At that time, Quartararo, who was a rookie, showed himself worthy of competing in MotoGP.

"I had just arrived in this category and competed in a race with the eight-time world champion. That year many considered Fabio Quartararo's presence in MotoGP to make no sense. That is why it is so important," said the French rider.
