Iko Uwais Reported Beating Case, Police Examine 2 Witnesses
JAKARTA - The alleged beating case involving Iko Uwais as the reported party is still being investigated. Police said that in the process, two witnesses had been examined.
"There are several witnesses, there are two witnesses who have been examined," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Monday, June 13.
The two witnesses examined were, among others, the wife of the victim and a person who was said to be at the location when the attack took place.
In fact, in the near future, Zulpan continued, Bekasi Metro Police investigators will send a summons to Iko Uwais. The goal is to hear his statement.
From the examination, investigators will be able to find a common thread in the beating case. After that the police determine the steps in handling the case.
However, the time for Iko Uwais's summons has not been confirmed. Because the investigator will decide the schedule.
"Then the next step, of course, will be the summoning of Iko Uwais," said Zulpan
Previously, Iko Uwais and his partner, Firmansyah, were reported to the police on suspicion of beatings. Reports are registered with the number LP/B/1.737/VI/2022/SPKT/Satreskrim/Polres Metro Bekasi.
This case, started with the victim who asked for money as payment for home interior design services.
