Drunk With Romance, Tissa Biani And Dul Jaelani Compose A Love Wine Song
JAKARTA - Lovebirds Tissa Biani and Dul Jaelani tell about their approach in the song Wine Cinta. Wine is identified with an intoxicating drink.
So is their love. The song Wine Love tells the story of a person who is intoxicated with romance.
"The idea of Wine of Love from me. Why Wine of Love? Indeed, this is when I made another PDKT (approach) with Tissa. So at that time, the call with Tissa ended and Wine of Love was born, 'let me drink your love', "Dul Jaelani was quoted as saying from ANTARA, Monday, June 13.
"Because maybe in our world, (wine) is intoxicating. So Love Wine, love is intoxicating. That term is often used by Kahlil Gibran, there is a book called Love Wine. I think that term is fun. It's never been used by today's musicians," he continued.
Furthermore, Tissa explained that the Wine of Love was not actually sung in a duet. But suddenly, Dul wanted the song to be sung by both of them.
"When we made it together (the lyrics), together with the song, we made the pre-chorus together. At first, Dul was singing alone, I was just helping to fill in the lack of lyrics. But suddenly Dul came up with an idea, it's just the two of us," said Tissa.
Tissa also admitted that in the process of making the song, there were also small debates between him and Dul. However, Tissa also considers it a beautiful process.
"In my opinion, the creative process is like, it's not something negative if we fight. I think it's a beautiful debate. So it's not an easy-going fight. In my opinion, if there's a creative process, if there's no debate, it's like something is lacking," said Tissa. .
"So when it comes to writing lyrics or making video clips, it's only natural to debate. Especially with your own boyfriend. So it's more fun to work with the people closest to you," he concluded.
