BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Resort Police (Polres) Criminal Investigation Team has named a member of the police with the initials BA as a suspect in a criminal act of domestic violence that resulted in the serious injury of a household assistant (ART).
Bengkulu Police Chief AKBP Andi Daddy through the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Bengkulu Police AKP Welliwanto Malau said that based on the results of the case, BA was finally named a suspect.
"From the results of the title for this case, it is agreed to designate BA as a suspect in the case of domestic violence," said Malau, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 10.
In addition, his party has also conducted a crime scene (TKP) at the suspect's residence in Sumur Village, Bengkulu City.
As well as conducting an examination of the suspect and reconstructing 26 scenes at the suspect's residence.
The Criminal Investigation Unit added that when conducting an examination at the suspect's house, his party confiscated evidence in the form of an iron, four CCTV units without memory and three memories, one electric plug that had caught fire.
Then one large pot and lid, one rattan, one pot, one piece of used wood measuring 50 centimeters, one piece of screwed iron with a length of 50 centimeters, one iron measuring 9 cm with a length of 30 cm.
"One car key, one cable reel and one cellphone," he said.
For this action, the suspect is threatened with Article 44 paragraph (2) of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning PKDRT junto Article 64 of the Criminal Code.
