JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 5.8 rocked West Sulawesi Province on Wednesday, June 8 at around 12.32 WIB, according to information from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) received in Jakarta. The epicenter of the earthquake was 43 km southwest of Mamuju. , West Sulawesi, the location is at 2.74 degrees south latitude and 118.54 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers.
