Middle-aged Woman Killed By Honda Beat In Front Of Alfamart

SERANG - A middle-aged woman died after being hit by a speeding motorbike on Jalan Yusuf Martadilaga, to be precise in front of Alfamart, Cipare Village, Serang City, Tuesday, June 7.

The accident involved a Honda Beat motorcycle with number A-3400-CT driven by Fahri (22), a resident of Perumnas Ciracas Blok B, Ciracas, Serang City. Meanwhile, the victim was identified as Hj Nurlela (67).

Head of Serang City Police Traffic Unit AKP Irfan Abdul Gopar confirmed the incident.

"That's right, on Jalan Raya Yusuf Martadilaga, in front of Alfamart, near the Bengal gas station. As a result, one pedestrian died," said Irfan Abdul Gopar, Wednesday, June 7.

Then the Kasat explained that at that time the Honda Beat motorbike driven by Fahri came from the direction of the square towards Kebon Ginger, when the TKP did not prioritize pedestrians crossing the road.

"As a result of the traffic accident, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was evacuated to the Dr Drajat Prawira Negara Serang Hospital, then died during treatment," explained the Head of Traffic.

The chief said the vehicle involved in the accident was secured at the Serang City Police Traffic Unit Gakkum Office for further investigation.

While the motorcyclist also suffered injuries to the legs and hands and was immediately questioned by investigators after the treatment.
