Teacher Expels Student In Samarinda Due To Not Having A Cellphone, Police Reach Out
SAMARINDA - A student from State Elementary School (SDN) 002 Samarinda Seberang with the initials MF (10) is suspected of being expelled by a teacher from school due to not having a cellphone to take the exam.
Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Pol Ary Fadli is concerned about what happened to MF. The Samarinda Police and Bhayangkari also visited MF's residence to build the boy's confidence on Tuesday, June 7th.
"To provide encouragement and support so that he is willing to study again and be able to excel," said Ary in Samarinda, Tuesday, June 7.
For information, for about a year MF did not go to school because he did not have a cellphone to take online lessons.
Then, when he was about to enter school to take the exam, he got unpleasant treatment from the teacher and his classmates.
When visiting MF's residence on Jalan Pangeran Bendahara Gang Pertenunan RT 02 Tenun Samarinda Seberang Village, the Samarinda Police gave some assistance in the form of basic necessities, school equipment and cellphones for MF.
Ary hopes that the cellphone can motivate and support MF's learning activities. "In the future, the school will be online because it will be a problem. There will also be a small tuition fee," he said.
