The Leader Of The Khilafatul Muslimin Arrested By The Police, NU Bandarlampung: There Must Be No Loopholes Against The Pancasila State

LAMPUNG - The Nahdlatul Ulama (PC NU) Branch Manager in Bandarlampung said that there should be no loopholes and other options for the Pancasila state that had been mutually agreed upon.

"For NU, Indonesia is a consensus country, so there should be no gaps and choices for the Pancasila State that has been mutually agreed upon," said Chairman of the Bandarlampung NU PC, Ichwan Adjie when contacted in Bandarlampung, Antara, Tuesday, June 7.

So, he continued, the state must be present and firm in dealing with groups or individuals who in fact will undermine and disrupt the single principle of Pancasila.

"So regarding the arrest of the leader of the Khilafatul Muslimin, of course I appreciate the police, because this is the duty of the state," he said.

He said the Khilafatul Muslimin have aspirations to build a caliphate or an Islamic state whose leadership is a caliphate.

"There are those who interpret the Khilafah concept formally, and there are also those who interpret leadership in terms of morals and morals. Even in the texts of Islamic teachings, the true concept of Khilafah or Islamic State has not been found and there are no examples," he said.

For NU the form of the state can be anything but the value of benefit and prosperity and the welfare of the people are the main goals.

"Leadership is for the prosperity and welfare of the people, those are the principles of leadership based on NU's view, while we have agreed, the agreed state is the Pancasila state. So once again there should be no gaps and other options for the country's principles," he said.
