DPR Asks For Budget Absorption Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources To Start In November
JAKARTA - Member of Commission VII DPR PAN faction Nasril Bahar questioned the slow pace of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) in absorbing the budget so that many work programs did not run optimally.
In the end, the public did not see the benefits of the budget policy that was decided between the DPR and the government.
This affirmation is aimed at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources which is slow to absorb the budget, especially the budget for electrification programs in the regions.
"This budget policy is a politics of siding with the availability of lighting, especially electricity, including New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) towards zero emission," Nasril explained in a meeting with Commission VII DPR RI quoted Tuesday, June 7.
Therefore, he wondered why such an important program such as electrification was only recently tendered.
Many begin tenders in May or at the end of the fiscal year.
He also questioned the ranks of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, why they are always late in absorbing the budget.
Finally, it will be rushed at the end of the year to absorb the budget, so that the electrification program is not optimal.
Present at the meeting were the Secretary General, Director General of EBTKE, Director General of Electricity, and Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
As a result of being late in absorbing the budget, he continued, the quality of work has also decreased.
On the other hand, Nasril actually praised the Ministry of Industry for conducting the tender since November. And in March the pro-people program was launched.
"Where is the partisanship of the Secretary General as the budget authority in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Almost 80 percent of it is a program of alignments towards electrification in the Republic. Moreover, in the 3T area, it's difficult to do it at the end of the fiscal year. I want budget politics to start November and it has been tendered. We need it," he concluded.
