Had Mild Flu Symptoms, The German Minister Of Health, Jens Spahn, Was Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - German Health Minister Jens Spahn tested positive for COVID-19. A spokesman for the Ministry of Health said Spahn had contracted COVID-19 after suffering mild flu symptoms. Even so, his condition was good. Jens is currently under home quarantine.
Launching CNA, Thursday, October 22, the day before Spahn had attended a cabinet meeting. Now, those who are thought to be in contact or even speaking in close proximity to Spahn are advised to immediately take the test. Others who did not feel contact or were near Spahn were exempted from recommending the test.
"The federal cabinet meets to comply with hygiene and spacing rules, which aim to ensure that even if someone is subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, quarantine rules for other participants or even all participants will not be necessary," said the spokesman.
Afterward, support for Spahn to immediately re-lead Germany's resistance to COVID-19 flowed profusely. One of the supports came from the German politician, Michael Roth. Through his tweets, Roth hopes that Spahn will soon be well again.
“My best wishes for @jensspahn. Hopefully he'll be back soon. Healthy and committed. We now need you to fight COVID-19, ”said Roth.
