Horror! The Moment The Robber Carrying A Machete Stood In Front Of His Sleeping Victim Was Caught By CCTV

JAKARTA - A group of armed robbers managed to get away with a motorbike in a housing complex on Jalan Cibubur 7, Number 46, Cibubur Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta. The incident was caught on a CCTV camera which captured the incident.

It can be seen from the CCTV footage that the perpetrator, who was wearing a mask, slipped into the living room of the victim's house. Then the perpetrator was seen carrying a sharp weapon in the form of a machete while in action.

The perpetrator was desperate to act when the victim was fast asleep in the living room.

The occupant of the house as well as the victim, Suwartati said that the theft occurred at 02:57 WIB.

He said that he was surprised when he found out that an automatic motorcycle brand Honda PCX was stolen by the perpetrators.

"So at first I knew when I was going to pee at 04.00. Then I wondered where this motorbike was going. My husband said there was, he still wasn't aware, because he was sleeping," said Suwartati to reporters, Monday, June 6.

"I have opened it, I saw the window, the gate was open," he added.

The victim was even more surprised to find out that Rp. 1 million and one cellphone were missing.

"In addition to the motorbike, my son's cellphone is also missing. Then the money of Rp. 1 million, just took it to pay for the social gathering," he said.

Furthermore, Suwartati said the perpetrator entered the living room of his house by prying out the side window. "He entered from the side window. He was like carrying a long machete when he entered," he said.

Suwartati admitted that he had reported the theft case to the Ciracas Police for follow-up. He hopes that the perpetrators will be caught and held accountable for their actions.

The Head of Ciracas Police, Kompol Jupriono, said that his party had carried out the crime scene (TKP).

"We have checked the crime scene and processed the crime scene. Currently, it is in the process of being investigated," he said.

He also could not confirm that the perpetrator was carrying a sharp weapon while in action.

"It can't be explained yet, we are collecting witnesses," he said.
