Head of the Class I Immigration Office for TPI Soekarno Hatta Muhammad Tito, the quota for M-Passport applications currently reaches 252. So in a week, the available quota is 252 x 5 (working days) = 1,260.

He added that this application quota will be valid for the month of June 2022. As for people who choose to register directly, the counter is opened every Friday for one week quota.

"We see that people's enthusiasm is very high in traveling across countries," said Tito in his statement, Monday, June 6.

"So that with this increase in the number of quotas, the enthusiasm of the community in submitting applications can be accommodated," he continued

As additional information, the M-Passport application is one of the latest innovations from the Directorate General of Immigration in accelerating the digitization of passport files.

Through this application, the public can directly upload the required documents and payments, so that when they come to the office, they only need to conduct interviews and verify the authenticity of the files.
