Google Play Will Help Indie Game Developers With Direct Guidance From Game Experts

JAKARTA - Google Play announced a few days ago that it will help develop indie games, wherever they are.

In her blog, Leticia Lago as P&E Developer Marketing said that the Indie Games program is back to help all indie game developers in around 78 eligible countries this year.

"This year, the Indie Games program is back to help talented indie developers design, launch and develop high-quality games and reach new players," he said, quoted on Sunday, June 5.

For indie game developers who are just starting their journey, Google Play will provide direct guidance from game experts.

"With the help of our network of gaming experts, Indie Game Accelerator provides education and mentorship for ambitious developers to help you build, launch and develop successfully."

Selected game studios will be invited to participate in a 10-week acceleration program starting September 2022 as the 2022 Accelerator Class.

For a passionate indie game developer who has just launched a high-quality game, you can submit your game to be showcased at the Indie Games Festival by Google Play.

"Once again, we are holding three international competitions to find the most promising games from Japan, South Korea and selected European countries, to celebrate the top 20 indie games in each region," explained Lago.

The festival jury will consist of gaming experts and Google, tasked with finding creative indie games that are poised to take the spotlight.
