Accident In Sudirman, Cars Hit 2 Motorists And Bike Path Borders, Police Are Still Investigating The Exact Cause
JAKARTA - A traffic accident involving a Toyota Innova crashing into two motorcycles occurred on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. To be exact, south in front of Graha CIMB Niaga, Senayan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday, June 5, at around 02.30 WIB. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist suffered injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Jamal Alam said that the Toyota Innova with police number B 2740 TYM driven by a man with the initials AJW crashed into an automatic motorcycle with number B 6964 VPI driven by the US and a motorcycle with number B 6624 ZHY driven by FFDH.
"USA, the motorcyclist suffered abrasions on his face, blisters on his left right hand and blisters on his right knee. Meanwhile, the driver with the initials FFDH suffered abrasions on his left hand and blisters on his right knee," said AKBP Jamal, Sunday, June 5 .
AKBP Jamal explained that the incident began when the car driven by AJW was traveling from the north to the south on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Arriving at the scene, in front of the Graha CIMB Niaga building, the car suddenly lost control and hit two motorcycles.
"The car hit a Vario motorbike with the number B 6964 VPI driven by the US. At the time of the incident, the US was driving in the same direction on the left," he said.
Next, the car hit another motorbike with the number B 6624 ZHY driven by FFDH which was parked on the sidewalk near the scene. The car also hit the bicycle lane barrier.
"As a result of the accident, the vehicle involved was damaged and the victim was injured. The car and two motorbikes that were hit were confiscated as evidence," he said.
Until now, Jamal is still conducting an in-depth investigation regarding the exact cause of the car accident that hit the motorcyclist.
After the accident, the car suffered damage to the front. Meanwhile, the two motorbikes that were hit were badly damaged in the body of the motorbike. "The cause of the accident is still under investigation," he said.
