COVID-19 Update As Of June 4: 395 New Cases, Active Cases Increase To 3,254

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 60,931 specimens were examined with the results of 395 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,056,412 people and active cases have increased by 131 to 3,105 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, June 4.

Today's recovered cases increased by 258 cases, bringing the total to 5,896,548 recovered people. Then, there were 6 positive confirmed deaths and a total of 156,610 people.

The province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 173 cases and a total of 1,251,348 cases. Followed by West Java with 58 new cases with a total of 1,106,819 cases. Banten has 47 new cases and a total of 293,332. Then, East Java with 38 new cases and a total of 576,413 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 113 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 36 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 26 recovered cases, and Banten with an additional 18 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 98,989,397.

"Positive results per number of people tested or this week's positivity rate of 0.77 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 2,767 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 200,437,748 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 167,644,703 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 46,364,747. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
