It's Fun, There Will Be A Strong Woman Bong-soon Spin Off, Starring Ong Seong Wu

JAKARTA - Fans of Korean dramas definitely know the romantic comedy drama Strong Woman Bong-soon. The drama, starring Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik, has become one of the iconic dramas. The good news, this drama spin off will be produced under the title Strong Girl Nam-soon.

Former member of boy group WANNA ONE and actor Ong Seong Wu will be starring in the romantic comedy series Strong Girl Nam-soon. Quoted from the Korea Times report, Ong Seong Wu's agency has also confirmed that the artist will appear in the drama.

This new series is about three women from different generations in a family namely Kang Nam-soon, his mother Hwang Geum-joo and his grandmother Gil Joong-gan.

Nam-soon, who has superpowers passed down from her mother's line in her family, grew up an orphan after being lost in Mongolia. After growing up, he returned to Korea to find his parents.

Reunited with his mother and grandmother, Nam-soon teams up with her family to hunt down the illegal drug-related activities that have occurred in the Gangnam District of southern Seoul.

Ong Seong Wu will play Kang Hee-sik, a detective who is part of an undercover narcotics team. He teams up with Nam-soon to fight drug networks in the district. The series is scheduled to air in the first half of next year and will be directed by Kim Jung-sik.
