PAN Invites PKS To Join United Indonesia Coalition, Golkar: Still Inclusive-Open But Airlangga As Candidate

JAKARTA - Chairman of PAN Zulkifli Hasan invited PKS to join the United Indonesia coalition (KIB) with Golkar and PPP. Responding to PAN's invitation to PKS, Golkar stated that this coalition was still inclusive and open to other political parties.

"Indeed, the KIB that was established is still inclusive, we are still open to accepting parties other than the three parties, namely Golkar, PAN, PPP to work together in this KIB. As long as the process is first, we will discuss ideas and shared desires in the presidential election strategy and the 2024 election later ," said Ace at the DPR Building, Monday, May 30.

Ace said, as stated by the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, that the parties that are members of the United Indonesia Coalition must have one mission and vision in the 2024 General Election.

"That's what Mr. Airlangga Hartarto as chairman of the Golkar Party said that KIB is still inclusive in nature provided that we have the same ideas, ideas, strategies in the context of the General Election, Presidential Election, Pilleg 2024 and also the matter of Pilkada in 2024," explained the Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII DPR.

But regarding the presidential election candidates, said Ace, the Golkar Party still makes Airlangga a presidential candidate.

"Of course the Golkar Party itself already has a decision to make Pak Airlangga a presidential candidate,"

"But of course it will be discussed later with the other party coalition members," said Ace.
