Many Residents Complained, South Sulawesi Provincial Government Immediately Repair Severely Damaged Roads In Antang Makassar
MAKASSAR - The Provincial Government of South Sulawesi through the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning promises the reconstruction of the damaged Antang Road section. Improvements will be made this year.
Head of the South Sulawesi PUTR Service, Astina Abbas, said that the certainty of this year's handling of the Makassar Antang Road was conveyed after coordinating with a number of parties.
"God willing, soon this year we will handle the reconstruction of the heavily damaged Antang road. Of course, this cannot be separated from the direct direction of the Governor of South Sulawesi (Andi Sudirman Sulaiman)," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 30.
In addition to road reconstruction, there will be improvements to the drainage system around Jalan Antang.
"While the DED will soon be carried out, then there will be an auction for the physical handling," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sulawesi BKAD, Muh Rasyid, said that in handling the Antang road section, the 2022 budget year was used.
According to him, the handling of the Antang road is included in the category of urgent needs, after going through several stages of verification of the fulfillment of the administrative feasibility element. This is in accordance with the rules of Article 69 of PP 12 of 2019 concerning Regional Financial Management.
“This road is very badly damaged, the road is going down. Accidents happen frequently. In addition, the road interferes with community activities so that traffic jams often occur," he explained.
