Jasa Marga Reminds Motorists To Anticipate Potential Traffic Jams Due To Repair Of The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Tomorrow
BEKASI - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk asked road users to be aware of the potential for congestion that may occur as a result of repair work on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road starting this weekend.
"Jasa Marga apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the work in question and at the same time urges all road users to anticipate the trip," said General Manager Representative Office 1 JTTRD Muhammad Taufik Akbar in Bekasi as reported by Antara, Friday, May 27.
He said a number of risk mitigations had been prepared during the road reconstruction period to prevent traffic congestion, including diverting the affected flow before the work area and narrowing the work area.
His party has also prepared a counter-way scheme if the traffic conditions are heavy, in addition to coordinating with the police, in this case the Highway Patrol (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO).
"There is no closure due to this work. The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road sections towards Jakarta and Cikampek are still operating normally," said Taufik.
Jasa Marga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division (JTTRD) as the manager of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is planning to carry out road repair work at three points starting on Saturday, May 28 tomorrow at 10.00 WIB.
Rigid pavement reconstruction work at the first point tomorrow will be at Kilometer (KM) 27+605 to KM 28+053 lane 1 in the direction of Cikampek with 295 meters of handling scheduled for completion on Friday (3/6) at 15.00 WIB.
Similar work will be continued at points KM 37+411 to KM 37+256 lane 2 lanes towards Jakarta with a handling length of 69.2 meters which will be carried out on Monday (30/5) at 10.00 WIB until Sunday (05/6) at 03.00 WIB. .
The third work is the reconstruction of flexible pavement at KM 65+600 to KM 65+528 lane 2 lanes to Jakarta with a handling length of 72 meters which will start on Monday (30/5) at 19.00 WIB until Tuesday (31/5) at 13.00 WIB .
"This work is in order to improve safety and comfort for road users as well as Jasa Marga's efforts to improve minimum service standards," he said.
Jasa Marga has socialized the work plan by installing outdoor media in the form of job warning banners and Variable Message Signs in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to ensure this information is well received by road users.
Taufik asked road users to ensure their vehicles are in top condition, have sufficient electronic money balance, and refuel before starting the trip.
"Always obey health protocols and travel requirements according to government regulations and be careful and obey signs, especially around work locations," he said.
