Already In Prison Still Playing With Drugs, Three Inmates At Tangerang Youth Prison Enter Isolation Cells
TANGERANG - There are three correctional inmates (WBP) aka inmates or inmates at the Tangerang Youth Prison who are involved in drug abuse.
Head of Tangerang Youth Headquarters, Kadek Anton Budiharta, confirmed the disclosure of the abuse. He said, the disclosure of this case after his side synergized with BNNP Banten.
Anton also said that the three prisoners had been given strict sanctions by being placed in solitary confinement.
"We say that this is true. We have given strict sanctions with severe disciplinary penalties in the form of revocation of their rights and placement in solitary confinement," said Anton in his statement, Tuesday, May 24.
Head of the Penitentiary Division of the Banten Kemenkumham Regional Office, Masjuno, said the disclosure was based on the development of the Banten Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP).
However, when asked about the type of narcotics, Anton refused to mention. The reason is that it is not within his jurisdiction.
"The type of narcotic substance can later be confirmed with the BNNP. We just focus on developing cases," he said.
Masjuno revealed that the three inmates are still in Tangerang Youth Prison with full observation positions. Because they are still under development.
"This is also a form of our commitment not to protect, not to allow practices that offend our commitment to the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse and Illicit Trafficking of Drugs (P4GN)," he said.
"So we remain focused on concentration and commitment to P4GN. Eradication and illicit drug trafficking, especially in the Banten area," he concluded.
