Family Remembers Fahmi Idris As A Figure Who Prioritizes Education
JAKARTA - The family of Fahmi Idris remembers the deceased as a person who prioritized education.
In the condition that he was sentenced to cancer, Fahmi Idris completed his doctoral education and has two doctoral degrees, namely a doctorate in Human Resource Management and Philosophy at the University of Indonesia.
He received an honorary degree of professor from the University of Padang.
"The deceased had cancer in 2014, but his enthusiasm was extraordinary, and his dream was to go to doctoral school. When he got cancer, he went back to school, so he had 2 doctoral degrees," said Fahmi Idris' son-in-law, Aldwin Rahardian, quoted from Antara, Sunday, May 22. .
Aldwin added that the deceased wanted to complete his education up to strata 3 (S3) because he was reminded of his late mother's mandate.
Since the last week, he continued, Fahmi Idris' health has declined.
"Because of cancer and complications, I took myself to the hospital, her condition dropped on Wednesday 18 May," said Fahira Idris' husband.
After being treated for several days, his wife came home from work outside the city, Fahmi Idris who was in intensive care reacted, as if he wanted to talk to his children.
However, the medical equipment surrounding him made it difficult for him to speak.
Fahmi Idris died at 10.00 WIB.
"It so happened that my wife was out of town. When she arrived at the hospital in the morning, Fahira communicated with her father, called her father. Then she reacted, wanting to talk but having difficulty with many tools, 10 minutes later she died," said Aldwin.
Fahmi Idris died leaving behind two daughters, six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As a son-in-law, Aldwin said the late Fahmi Idris was an inspiration to a large family.
"He has warned about education, contributing to the interests of many people, the community. It is always instilled in his sons and daughters. He deserves to be placed as a national figure," said Alwin.
Fahmi Idris was buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, South Jakarta.
Before being taken to the Tanah Kusir TPU, Fahmi Idris' body was buried at the funeral home at Jalan Mampang Prapatan IV Number 20, South Jakarta.
A number of political figures were present at the funeral home, namely the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla, Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo, Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan, chairman of the Golkar Party Advisory Council Akbar Tanjung and Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives Rahmat Gobel. .
