Tourism Bus Accident In Ciamis: Pilgrims Boarded From Balaraja, Tangerang
JAKARTA - A tourist bus accident carrying a pilgrim from Balaraja, Tangerang had a fatal accident at Tanjakan Balas, Panumbangan, Ciamis Regency. In that incident, three people died and dozens were injured.
"Three people died, 24 people were injured," said Banten Police Head of Public Relations Grand Commissioner Shinto Silitongan when confirmed, Saturday, May 21.
The accident, which occurred this afternoon at around 17.30 western Indonesia time, started when the bus carrying the pilgrims descended Balas Hill from Panjalu to Panumbangan.
Then, suddenly the bus hit two cars and one car that had stopped on the left side of the road.

"It crashed into a minibus that was stopped on the left side of the road, then it also hit a motorcycle boxcar that was coming from the opposite direction," said Shinto.
In fact, the bus seemed to be getting out of control. The bus crashed into several houses and was badly damaged.
"The Pandawa PO bus hit a house on the right side of the road," he said.
However, it is not known what caused the bus to run out of control. Currently, the police are still looking for evidence and clues behind the deadly bus accident incident.
