YOGYAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive Haedar Nashir hopes that the Ummat Party can qualify as a participant in the 2024 General Election.

"Hopefully the Ummah Party will be able to 'fastabiqul khairat' (race in goodness), compete in a healthy and democratic manner with other parties so that the presence of the Ummah Party will also become a strength for political parties in Indonesia as a modern political system that makes Indonesia more democratic. "Collaborating in a healthy manner to build Indonesia into a more united, sovereign, advanced, just and prosperous country as mandated by the constitution as well as being able to strengthen national unity," said Haedar.
