Drama Starring Kim Sae Ron, Korean Artist Arrested For Drunk Driving

JAKARTA - The name Kim Sae Ron made the Korean public worried because he was suspected of driving a car while drunk. Quoted from Allkpop on Wednesday, May 18, Gangnam Police received 16 calls from local residents because they saw a car being taken carelessly.

Upon inspection, the car had hit a roadside structure. The driver, known to Kim Sae Ron, was said to have intended to run away. However, the police managed to secure him.

When asked to undergo a breathalyzer test to check his alcohol content, Kim Sae Ron refused. "Kim Sae Ron instead wanted to be taken to the hospital for a blood test," reads a statement from Allkpop.

Currently, the police are still investigating Kim Sae Ron. Kim Sae Ron's name became known when he starred in the drama A Girl at My Door in 2014.

He has starred in dozens of drama titles including: hi! School Love On, The Man From Nowhere, Mirror of the Witch, Leverage, and The Villagers. Kim Sae Ron has also been an exorcist in the Korean drama The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim

Kim Sae Ron himself was reported to have recently starred in a new Netflix drama titled Hunting Dogs along with Park Sung Woong, Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi to Heo Joon Ho.

Hunting Dogs is a drama adapted from the webtoon of the same name. This drama will tell an action noir about three men who are trying to get out of debt and are also tied up because of debt.

Kim Sae Ron will play Hyun Joo, who is like family to Mr. Choi (Heo Joon Ho) and will replace him. Mr. Choi was once a legend in the personal loan business, but now, he was lending money to the sick without interest.
