VIDEO: First Time Participating In SEA Games, Indonesia Becomes Champion

JAKARTA - Indonesia has fond memories, when they first participated in the SEA Games in 1977, and immediately became the champion. Previously, the SEA Games were called SEAP Games, Southeast Asian Peninsular Games. The first time it was held was on 12 to 17 December 1959. Indonesia only joined in 1977. During the SEA Games, Indonesia was the overall champion 10 times. The last time was in 2011. Meanwhile, Thailand is the overall champion 13 times.
