Spying Robbery In Pinang Ranti, East Jakarta, Caught On CCTV

JAKARTA - The car mirror theft occurred on Jalan Pinang Ranti, RT 17/01, Pinang Ranti Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta. Two of the perpetrators were caught on CCTV cameras at the scene.

From the footage, the two perpetrators can be seen stopping and looking around the road. After it was quiet, the two of them immediately took off the car's rearview mirror.

"Initially there were two people riding automatic motorbikes to monitor the location. The one who was riding the car down immediately took off the right side mirror," said Arina, the victim, to reporters, Tuesday, May 17.

After successfully removing the left side mirror of the car, the perpetrator again removed the right side mirror. When the incident occurred, the car alarm had sounded.

However, the perpetrators continued to carry out their theft without fear of being caught by the residents. The perpetrator then fled after getting the stolen mirrors.

"After the car alarm sounded, the perpetrator panicked and immediately fled. This is the first time this has happened," he said.

The act of theft carried out by the perpetrators was very fast. It didn't take long, the perpetrators managed to steal a set of car mirrors parked in a residential area.

The car mirror theft has been reported to the Makassar Police and the case is still being handled by the police.
