Deadly Bus Driver Accident On Sumo Toll Turns Positive For Drugs
SURABAYA - Ardiansyah's bus driver, Ade Firmansyah, tested positive for methamphetamine. this was known after the police conducted a urine test on the bus driver.
"After we investigated, based on the driver's statement, it turned out that there were indications that he was using methamphetamine. Then we did a urine test and the results were positive," said Director of Traffic for the East Java Police, Kombes Latif Usman, in Surabaya, Tuesday, May 17.
Today, Latif continued, the East Java Police Ditlantas took the blood of the bus driver Ardiansyah and sent it to the forensic laboratory. The goal is to ascertain what shabu-shabu is in, as well as to explore where the driver uses the drugs.
"There were times during the trip in Surabaya, from Wonosobo to Yogyakarta. There was a time when he stopped, and there was an hour when he didn't attend the event in Dieng, that is, one hour at a restaurant. What was that," he said.
According to Latif, the bus driver did not admit to using methamphetamine. However, the results of the urine test were positive for using methamphetamine.
"The driver doesn't admit it. This is the result of a temporary urine test," he said.
