Police Investigate Cause Of Buru Island Education Office Fire

AMBON - The fire at the Education and Culture Office on Jalan Baru number 1 Nametek Jiku Kecil, Namlea Village, Namlea District, Buru Regency, last Sunday, May 15, at 16.00 WIT, is not yet known what caused it.

Buru Island Police Public Relations Officer, Aipda MYS Djamaluddin said that currently the police are still conducting an investigation at the crime scene (TKP).

"While the crime scene is still being processed, it has not yet been completed," said the Public Relations Officer of the Buru Island Police, Aipda MYS Djamaluddin, to Antara in Ambon, Tuesday, May 17.

Hasnia Timin, a resident of Nametek Jiku Kecil, whose house is behind the Education and Culture Office. However, the witness was surprised to see the flames coming from behind the Office of Education and Culture, Buru Regency.

Seeing that the fire was getting bigger, the witness was afraid and went back into the house to take his child and ran out of the house.

It is known that the fire was extinguished on the same day, using two fire engines and two water tankers.
