BMKG Predicts Thunderstorms In South And East Jakarta With Strong Winds

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas will experience rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds.

BMKG through its official website in Jakarta, Sunday, explained that thunderstorms are expected to occur in the afternoon and evening.

Quoted by Antara, on Sunday morning the weather in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and Central Jakarta is expected to be cloudy.

Then, North Jakarta, East Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy.

However, entering the afternoon the weather will change, which is estimated to rain throughout the DKI Jakarta area except for the Thousand Islands which is predicted to be sunny.

In detail, South Jakarta and East Jakarta are expected to rain with moderate intensity, while West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta are expected to have light rain.

Furthermore, in the evening the weather is predicted to be cloudy in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands.

Cloudy weather is expected in South Jakarta and East Jakarta.

Then in the early morning, the weather in the entire DKI Jakarta area will be cloudy.

Meanwhile, the air temperature is estimated to be in the range of a minimum of 24 to a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level is estimated at a minimum of 70 to a maximum of 95 percent.
