Traffic On Jalan Otista 3 Diverted Due To Work On Ciliwung Sodetan Until September 17

JAKARTA - Traffic flow on Jalan Otista 3, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, was diverted due to the construction of the Ciliwung Sodetan until September 17, 2022.

Head of the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Dody Setiyono, said that the traffic engineering had started on Monday, May 9. Six to nine personnel from the East Jakarta Sub-Department of Transportation are on standby every day to manage traffic at the location.

"There has been no change in traffic engineering. It's still running smoothly," said Dody Setiyono, quoted by Antara, Saturday, May 14.

Dody said that during the construction of the Ciliwung bypass, traffic from Jalan DI Panjaitan to Jalan Otista Raya was diverted via Jalan Kebon Nanas Selatan II.

On the other hand, traffic from Jalan Otista Raya to Jalan DI Panjaitan is diverted via Jalan Kebon Nanas Utara II.

Meanwhile, JAK 02 transportation (Kampung Melayu-Duren Sawit route) and M18 transportation (Kampung Melayu-Pondok Gede route) which was originally via Jalan Otista 3 were diverted via Jalan Haji Yahya and Jalan Kebon Nanas Selatan II during the work.

Dody said that his party had carried out socialization long ago through the sub-district and kelurahan parties regarding the diversion of traffic flow.

"The community is expected to be able to choose an alternative route with the guidance of officers in the field," said Dody.
