The Joint SAR Team Finds Underage Anglers Drowning In The Cidurian River, Tangerang
JAKARTA - After the search was carried out since Thursday night, May 12, the underage youth who had drowned while fishing was finally found in a lifeless condition in Cidurian River, Cijayanti District, Tangerang, Banten, Friday, May 13, at around 14.50 WIB.
The victim's body was found at a radius of 1.5 KM from the scene. The bodies of the victims were evacuated by officers to the funeral home and will then be handed over to the family.
The head of the Jakarta SAR Office as the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR operation, Hendra Sudirman, said the victim was found dead on the second day of the search by the joint SAR team. The search was carried out by three teams carried out with different methods.
"We found the victim after trying to use the blender technique (turning an engined rubber boat) which finally made the victim float to the top and we immediately evacuated," said Hendra when confirmed by VOI, Friday, May 13, afternoon.
As many as tens of joint SAR officers were deployed in the process of searching for victims. The parties involved in the search are the Jakarta SAR Office, Cisoka Sector Police, Tangerang Polresta Police, Tangerang Regency BPBD, Jayanti District Officials and others.
The SAR operation is divided into three search teams. The first search team, continued Hendra, was carried out by sweeping using a rubber boat along the Cidurian river flow with a radius of up to 6 KM from the scene.
The second team conducted a search by sweeping by land along the banks of the Cidurian River.
"We have also installed a rescue net at a radius of 4 km from the incident location," said Hendra.
Then the third team, he continued, used the Aqua Eye media and the Underwater Search Device to see objects below the water's surface.
