Ruhut Posts Meme Shirtless Anies, Deputy Governor Of DKI Doesn't Want To Get Involved: That's A Personal Problem
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, feels that his party does not want to interfere with the issue of meme photos of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan that were uploaded or posted by PDIP politician, Ruhut Sitompul.
Although the case of Anies' Meme posting has been reported to the police, Riza views this as a private matter between Ruhut and Anies who was used as a meme photo.
"Yes, it's a personal matter. Let's take care of each other, help each other, complement each other, respect each other, okay," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, May 13.
Riza only reminded that fellow Indonesians should live in peace, collaborate with each other, and avoid hostility.
"Let's avoid unnecessary differences. Instead, we make this difference, we make our strength in the future to build the nation," he said.
For information, Ruhut uploaded a photo of Anies wearing traditional Papuan clothing complete with a koteka on his Twitter account. His action was not long after Ruhut posted a photo with the narration 'Haram Supports Anies Baswedan'.
For his actions, many netizens criticized Ruhut and criticized a number of parties. The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan confirmed that his party had received a report against Ruhut.
Polda Metro Jaya investigators are currently still studying the report contained in the LP/B/2299/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated May 11, 2022. The alleged article in the report is Article 28 paragraph (2) junto Article 45A paragraph (2) of the Law RI Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).
