Bodies Of KKB Shooting Victims In Gome Evacuated To Timika
JAYAPURA - The body of Nober Palintin, the victim of the shooting by the armed criminal group (KKB) was evacuated to Timika. The victim was then taken to Makassar to be buried in his hometown in Toraja.
Puncak Police Chief AKBP Nyoman Punia said the body of Nober, who worked as a truck driver, had been evacuated from Ilaga.
The bodies of the shooting victims were found about 2 kilometers from the crime scene (TKP).
Nober Palintin, 31 years old, is thought to have drifted away after being shot while fleeing towards the river until he was found by people in Kali Wilipur, Kampung Kimak, Ilaga District.
"The victim was found by the community who helped carry out the search for the victim," said Nyoman Punia, quoted by Antara, Friday, May 13.
According to witness testimony, when the gunshots were heard, the victim ran towards the river. While the three colleagues who helped pick up the sand ran in different directions.
There were no traces of blood found at the scene, so it is suspected that the victim was shot while running to a river or small river.
Regarding the perpetrators, he admitted that he could not confirm which group he belonged to because in the Puncak Polres area there were several KKB.
"From the testimony of witnesses at the time of the incident, there were two people carrying weapons," said AKBP Nyoman Punia.
