Returning To The Theater World, Kim Seon Ho Plays Musical Touching The Void
JAKARTA - Actor Kim Seon Ho has been confirmed to join the musical Touching The Void. Quoting Sports Chosun, he returned to the theater stage after Ice.
Touching the Void is a musical that tells the struggle of two climbers through a journey that has not been passed by anyone. This story is inspired by Joe Simpson and Simon Yates who successfully climbed the Siula Grande in 1985.
Kim Seon Ho will play Joe Simpson, one of the main climbers along with Shin Sung Min and Lee Hwi Jong. In addition there are Oh Jung Taek and Jung Hwan who star as Simon Yates.
The musical Touching The Void will be directed by Kim Dong Yeon. He is a well-known musical director in South Korea.
Kim Seon Ho himself is an actor who started his career in the theater world. Therefore, his longing for acting is definitely supported by fans who are looking forward to his new work.
Kim Seon Ho had a vacuum after the controversy with his ex-lover was revealed. He withdrew from two productions of the film and show 2 Days and 1 Night. Later, he began to return to the entertainment world by greeting fans on social media.
“I apologize for causing you trouble. Thank you for wishing me a birthday this year. I will remember your hearts and become an actor that you support," wrote Kim Seon Ho.
Besides Touching The Void, Kim Seon Ho also starred in the film Sad Tropics. The musical will begin in July at the Daehak-ro Art Theater.
