Gus Dur's Younger Sister Lily Wahid Was Buried At The Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School
JAKARTA - Lily Chodidjah Wahid bint KHA Wahid Hasyim, the younger brother of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) died today.
In a written statement from the family, Lily's body will be buried at the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School on Tuesday, May 10. This place is the location of the same grave as Gus Dur and KH Salahuddin Wahid or Gus Sholah.
It is known, Lily died at 16.28 WIB at the National Central General Hospital dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) Jakarta. Lily Wahid's body will be buried in West Covina Blok SH 6/31, Kota Wisata Cibubur, Bogor.
Lily Chodidjah Wahid was born in Jombang on March 4, 1948. He served as deputy chairman of the Syuro Council of the National Awakening Party (PKB).
In the 2009 election, Lily walked into the DPR after winning the contest in the East Java II electoral district.
As a member of the House of Representatives for the 2009-2014 period, Lily was placed in Commission I in charge of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information, the State Intelligence Agency, the Ministry of Defense and the TNI.
