Tangerang Regency Government Reminds ASN To Go Back Home In Accordance With National Holidays And Joint Leave

JAKARTA - The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) reminded the state civil apparatus (ASN) to arrange the time for returning home for this Eid.

The Tangerang Regency Government, Banten Province reminded the ASN who are on duty in the region, to set a timetable for the departure of the homecoming flow, so that they can go to work in accordance with the provisions for the Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijri or Lebaran 2022 leave limit.

"I hope that ASN in the Tangerang Regency Government can manage their homecoming time and arrange their return schedule, to return to work serving the community in accordance with the provisions of the national holiday and Eid al-Fitr joint leave," said Head of the Tangerang Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) Hendar Hermawan. , quoted from Antara, Sunday 8 May.

He said that his party was aware of the information proposed by the National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo and it was approved by the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo regarding the implementation of the work from home or WFH system for ASN to unravel the congestion on the backflow of this Eid. .

However, said Hendar, currently the Tangerang Regency Government will first look at future developments by preparing a number of options if various possibilities occur, including implementing the policies that have been proposed by the National Police Chief.

"If it has become a written rule from the Central Government (Menpan RB), the regional government must follow up / apply the rule," he said.

He revealed that if the schedule for the first work entry in his government was fixed on Monday, May 9, because it was in accordance with national regulations.

Therefore, his party again reminded employees/ASN to return home quickly to work in their respective areas.

"But if the WFH is still a proposal or discourse (there are no written rules), we will not follow up (still going to WFO work according to schedule)," he said again.

Previously reported on Thursday, May 5, National Police Chief Listyo Sigit proposed that government and private agencies implement the WFH policy for a week after the end of the 2022 Eid holiday.

"We also urge to unravel the backflow, especially for institutions, both private and government, which allow for this week to carry out activities using existing media, such as online or work from home," said the National Police Chief.

Then, this was also approved by the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform by suggesting all government agencies to arrange a WFH schedule for all ASN for a week starting Monday 9 May.

"I agree with the opinion of the National Police Chief that government agencies implement the WFH policy. All PPKs (Employee Guidance Officers) are expected to regulate the distribution of schedules so that government administration and services to the community continue to run," said Tjahjo Kumolo.

The implementation of the WFH, he also said, would not interfere with administrative matters and other government services, because now there has been the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) which allows ASN to work flexibly by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT).

In addition, the application of WFH for a week after the 2022 Eid leave can also be applied as an effort to self-isolate (isoman) for ASN after meeting with family from their hometown.
