Female Ojol In Jakarta Becomes Victim Of Sexual Harassment Of Prospective Passengers

JAKARTA - A Maxim online motorcycle taxi driver in South Jakarta, J is suspected of being a victim of sexual harassment by a prospective passenger. The incident occurred last Friday afternoon.

J said that he was invited to have sex by a male prospective passenger through the Maxim online motorcycle taxi conversation application.

"Initially, I started the application for fun at Pasar Minggu after coming from a friend's house. Then I was able to order towards North Cipete. I clicked and received the order. In the notes, I asked for intercourse," said J when confirmed, Saturday, May 7.

"Then I replied to the chat, 'Congratulations, you were tracked and entered the People's Search List.'

On that occasion, he admitted that it was the first time he had received such a sexual harassment message.

"This is the first time I've been sexually harassed. I'm surprised it's like that, right. People want to make money, they do things like that," he said.

He hopes that acts of harassment or pranking online motorcycle taxi drivers will not happen again. Because according to him, the workers are purely to make money.

"Well, I hope that rich people don't work with people who are really looking for money like ojol. It's a shame if those who really make a living are ojol but get orders like that," he concluded.
